Share a Pair with London Sock Company

Blog • 12 December 2019

Here at London Sock Company, we’re aware that not everyone is as fortunate as us, and the festive season can be a difficult – even dangerous – time. According to recent studies, socks are the most needed but least donated item of clothing to homeless shelters. And over 20% of medical problems experienced by homeless people are related to foot care.

The Charities

It’s for this reason that we have partnered with three charities that are carrying out incredible work in London and further afield: Crisis, Foot Works and Choose Love – Help Refugees. Since 1967, Crisis has worked to end homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change. Their innovative education, employment, housing and well-being services address individual needs and help people transform their lives. Foot Works provides free integrated podiatry and foot care services for homeless men and women. They deliver this service through a dedicated team of volunteer qualified podiatrists in central London. Choose Love – Help Refugees sends out funds, material aid and volunteers to various local organisations that support refugees on the frontline, identifying their needs and giving them what they need to help the community. How to help

We are supporting these organisations from the ground up. From now on, with every purchase from London Sock Company, we will donate a pair of socks to one of these worthy causes.

We hope that our customers will work with us to donate socks and support these charities. An extra pair of socks will be added to your basket automatically, free of charge, with every purchase. After checkout, please select the charity you wish to support.

Charity doesn’t end after the festive period. We will be supporting these organisations – and others – throughout 2020, and beyond.
