A win at Drapers Awards 2021: Rising Star, Vinyet Muntane

At the Drapers Awards 2021 at London Hilton Park Lane, London Sock Company’s Vinyet Muntane was presented with the Rising Star award.

Last week, the LSC team joined top brand leaders from across the UK and Ireland at London’s Hilton on Park Lane. The occasion? Celebrating individual and industry achievements at the 30th anniversary Drapers Awards 2021. We were up for two awards this year – Accessories Brand of the Year again (defending our title … we won at the last awards) and our very own Vinyet Muntane was nominated for a Rising Star Award.

We were up against some amazing brands in both categories but are so pleased to announce that Vinyet won the Rising Star Award.

Since joining us, Vinyet has been instrumental in our charitable work and sustainability mission – from our Share a Pair initiative to our Net Zero by 2025 ambitions. This is at the same time as being a true customer service superstar.

She has been quietly passionate, meticulous, and tireless in her pursuit of making a difference since she started. We can say, hands on hearts, that Vinyet has unquestionably made LSC a better company

In their award, Drapers judges said that she has shown value “way beyond her remit”. They said that she has impacted the whole business by making LSC’s charitable and sustainable initiatives more impactful.
